Kleronomia, Vol. 14, Issue B

Kleronomia, Vol. 14, Issue B, July 1982, 436 pages.

This issue of Kleronomia includes 6 theological essays and a bibliographic bulletin.

K.H.Uthemann makes an interesting study of hypostatic and Christological attributes and particularly the distinction in the meaning “undivided” and “non confusing union”.

Th. Zissis studies the influence of Apostle Paul on the theological thought of Saint John Chrysostom, Archbishop of Constantinople. Chrysostom, according to the writer, does not onlyinterpret Paul but also forms his “reappearance”.

Father George Dragas (text’s translation by Despo Lialiou) attempts a redefinition of Orthodox Ecclesiology. (see Klironomia 13, 1981).

Nik.Ziakas describes the murals of the temple of Saints Theodoron in Lakovikeia (community of Palaikymis in Serres), with rich photographic material.

A.Jakovljevic studies the personality and the work of John Koukouzelis- Papadopoulos, musician and ecclesiastical poet of the 14th century. His contribution in the history of Greek music and hymnography is enormous.

Evangelia Chatzitryfonos describes and analyzes the marble floor of the southern Chapel of the Holy Abbey Vlatadon, with photographic material.

The bibliographic bulletin presents many seasonal books and there is plenty of information in the Chronicles, by Sot.Varnalidis, on the International Theological Congress of Spirituality in the Vatican (Rome, 22-26.3.1982).
